Thank you for visiting my site!  Creating and composing art by hand and digitally is my passion!  The meaning of Alena is Light, and Dawn is when the sun brings light out of darkness.  I feel as though my mission is life is to spread light throughout the world.  My faith is the most important thing to me.   When I am painting, I feel extremely connected to God and the high vibrational universal energy flow.  

Much of my art is influenced by the beautiful planet we live on.  Taking good care of mother earth is very important to me. Incorporating old objects that would be otherwise useless into my mixed media pieces is a way I am able to recycle and transform energy.  In the past I have donated art for causes such as Defending the Endangered wildlife fund,  and the Peace Project.  

Recently I have been using many old records for canvases and collaging.  Music has always been a major influence on my artistic style and where my use of various darker elements come from. 

My work has been featured in MF(Music Fashion) Magazine, Northwest Stylist Magazine (Cover Contest winner), Runway Magazine, Underground Magazine (Cover Model & Featured Designer), various music videos and  films. The evolution of all of my passions coming together is my art on fashion, my own line of artistic fitness and street wear called Abstract Dawn.
